“Our Future – European Integration” (OFEI) is an exchange program and a network of young people from Kosovo , Serbia and The Netherlands .

OFEI aims to contribute to peaceful relations between (young) Albanians and Serbs through open and (self) critical dialogue regarding the past and the future. OFEI wishes to spread knowledge about the political situation in Kosovo and Serbia in a context of European integration and to stimulate more active involvement of youth regarding these issues within their own societies.

For 2010 we are looking for 15 new participants, 5 from each country.

Study visits and other activities in: Kosovo, Serbia and the Netherlands

Study visits are at the core of OFEI. The tentative dates for the intensive course and the two study visits are:

·        Intensive course in Skopje , week of the 1^st of May

·         Kosovo– week of the 5^th of May 

·         The Netherlands  and Brussels– week of the 10^th of October

The OFEI exchange year furthermore consists of:

·        Activities/street actions during study visits;

·        Media outreach;

·        Youth activities and peer-to-peer lectures after the study visits;

·        OFEI network meetings

Fill out the application form in English. In order to apply we ask you to fill out your personal details, to write a motivation, preliminary action plan and a short reflection on ‘who controls the past controls the future’; ‘Dealing with the past and the European integration process’

Please send your application form to or not later than the 31^st of March 2010. Selection of participants will take place in the first week of April. If you pass the selection, you will be invited to come to a preparatory meeting.
